Event Description

What better way to start the New Year than focusing on our own relationships with ourselves and our children. Join us on Monday, January 19 (MLK Day) at 4:30pm to 6:00pm. We’ve invited Jaikaur LeBlanc, https://www.jaikaur.com/, an experienced mediator and mentor, to share practical guidance and emotional insight for navigating co-parenting during the divorce process and how to strive for stability in families affected by post-separation abuse. This program is designed for mothers who have experienced trauma—whether before, during, or after divorce/separation—and are seeking healthier, more regulated relationships with their children.

Jaikaur will explore strategies on how to engage your personal power with clarity and confidence and how to make intentional, healthy relationship choices—both with your children and your child’s other parent—while minimizing conflict and supporting emotional safety and stability. This program provides a supportive space for reflection, skill-building, and growth, empowering mothers to move forward with greater self-awareness, resilience, and purpose in their parenting relationships.

There will be time to answer your questions about how to navigate emotional abuse recovery. Please send your questions to info@massfamily.org by Friday, January 16, 2026.

This program is educational in nature and is not a substitute for therapy, legal advice, or crisis intervention. Participation is entirely voluntary, and attendees are encouraged to engage at their own comfort level. If you are experiencing emotional distress or feel unsafe, we encourage you to seek support from a mental health professional or local support resources.
