Hear from keynote speakers Dr. Adrienne Adams and Margo Cook, CFP, CDFA about cutting-edge empirical research on economic abuse and coerced debt in marriage, how economic abuse is quantified in divorce cases, and the implications for post-divorce financial outcomes. Legal practitioners, scholars, and advocates will explore how Massachusetts caselaw, legislation, recent Child Support Guidelines updates, and DOR regulations are adapting to address economic disparities caused by divorce and provide practical tools and strategies for practitioners and advocates.
